So, I was at a Wedding Mixer the the other night and a fellow photographer told me I was a terrible blogger. "You NEVER update your blog", she said. Kelly, thanks for the kick in the butt and here you go! Expect regular posts from here on.
Have I been busy! Painting walls and eating gumbo... I am happy to announce that after much searching I have found an office. It's downtown, in a penthouse suite, with rooftop patio and a swimming pool to boot! I am within biking distance from home and it is an absolute pleasure to work in. You never know what you might find on the bulletin board at Safeway ; ) I have spent the last couple months getting essentials together, painting (thanks mom) and moving in. You can see the fruits of our labour below or just call and drop by anytime to get one of the best views of our city...
Also, I spent a week in Louisiana. I went down for a ONE LIGHT photography workshop. New Orleans is such a strange and fascinating city. The French Quarter is stunning, I would have loved to spend more time there. I could never tire of gumbo and shady jazz clubs. I have posted some fun photos from the trip and the workshop below. My wedding season has begun and I've already had some great shoots. More posts to come soon, I promise... Jessica
